It’s no secret I haven’t been overly happy with things for the past couple of years.

Fortunately, that appears to be changing, at least in the case of what I have to do, 8+ hours a day.

Because of my self-imposed “dont go into detail” rule when it comes to work, suffice it to say I am about to be put into a situation where my specialities can be used.

So very happy about this.

We have a discussion going at NZB about Paul Henry.

I’m trying to avoid adding to it, as people often see the Site Admin’s views as those of the site, and might not be as inclined to comment.

My personal view – nothing he said was overly offensive. People need to listen to a bit of Jimmy Carr, then compare his comments to Paul’s.

Basically: Paul is silly. Not nasty.

Today’s destination: Westmere Butchers, where we hope to find some sausages.

Given it’s a butcher, the likelyhood is high.

I recently discovered the wonders of Eggs Benedict, especially Hollandaise sauce.

Having tasted these ones at a local cafe, I tried to make them myself.. with 100% success.

Don’t think we’ll be buying them any more.

I got the itchy webmaster syndrome last night, and decided to rip down one of my under-performing vB sites and put it on a new domain. This was in part due to the fact I need the CMS/Blogs, and can’t afford the $225 to upgrade one of my existing 3.x licenses right now.

The domain? That’s a secret.

The content? That’s a secret too.

Uploading the vB files now.

I’m runnin’ and I won’t touch ground..

Oh no, I’ve got to keep on Moving.

We have shifted house, from the place we own in Massey, West Auckland… to Ponsonby (or thereabouts), pretty much smack-dab in Auckland CBD.

This was due mainly to the fact that we both work in the city, and the drive to and from Massey was just too long and tiresome, and we were so far out of the way of all the people we know. So we upped stakes and are now renting again.

Our place in Massey was put on the rental market on a Saturday. By the Wednesday we had tenants. By the following Wednesday we were moved into the new place.

Still unpacking, but 90% complete.
